Hydewide Residents Voice (HRV), Hyde’s highest level resident scrutiny group, welcomed Hyde Chief Executive Elaine Bailey to their meeting on Tuesday 15 December. Elaine gave resident members an overview of current political issues affecting the housing sector, which included how Hyde plans to meet the government’s wish for social housing providers to build more homes.
HRV also reviewed performance information with Carol Carter, Group Director of Housing and raised concerns about the complaints and lettings services.
HRV now has four new members – some of whom have been members of other committees and some that are complete new to being involved. They all settled in well and enjoyed their first meeting.
