Latest update - 23 May 2022

In collaboration with our fire engineers, we’ve now reviewed the PAS9980 guidance, taking into consideration the RICS guidance and the Fire Safety Act. To satisfy the PAS9980 guidance and to produce an EWS1 certificate, every material, of every elevation of the external wall, must be reviewed to properly assess the risk.

In line with this new guidance, we’ve started carrying out additional investigations to the brickwork and spandrel panels (the panels that go across floors) at Eyot House in order to provide an EWS1 certificate.

The investigations and reinstatements that started on Monday 21 March are now complete. The fire engineers are reviewing their findings and putting together a report of the results.

We expect to be able to issue residents at Eyot House with an EWS1 certificate in 10 – 12 weeks from the date of the investigations.
