Our vision and ambition
We aim to ensure we provide and deliver services across the variety of communities and individuals we are responsible to as a social landlord. Our workforce is diverse reflecting the communities we work in and we work to ensure that we maintain and benefit from the different perspectives our staff offer.
At the same time we will continue to minimise the gap between economically disadvantaged and socially excluded groups in the communities that we work in.
Hyde Foundation, our expert community investment team supports vulnerable residents to sustain their tenancies and works in priority areas to pre-empt and address wider community issues. Specialist Successful Tenancies advisers support residents with complex needs to sustain their tenancies and offer money and debt and employment support.
Our Successful Places team develops partnerships that increase positive pathways for young people and improves the health and wellbeing of older residents.
Accountability for diversity and inclusion
Our Group Board has overall accountability for diversity and inclusion.
This includes reviewing the Group’s annual performance to ensure regulatory and legislative requirements are met and that services are accessible and meet individual need.
The Executive Team provides leadership, resources and governance to deliver our diversity and inclusion vision and business objectives.
Senior teams across the business are responsible for developing, delivering and monitoring diversity and inclusion actions as part of the business planning process.
The Diversity and Inclusion Group reviews progress against our plans and identifies emerging issues that need to be addressed.
All our staff and partners are responsible for understanding and applying our diversity and inclusion values, standards and behaviours in their day to day work.
