The Successful Places team works with partner organisations to build resilient, thriving, cohesive communities where people want to live. We invest in future generations through enabling positive pathways for young people and tackling the root causes of ASB-related issues in communities. We also work with older people, reducing isolation and increasing their ability to live independently in their own homes for longer.
Our strategic work with partner organisations brings in additional external funding that supports social transformation projects in higher need neighbourhoods, as well as enhancing Hyde’s profile and demonstrating our commitment to invest in people and places
We have identified priority areas to focus our attention on – this could be for a variety of reasons, including high unemployment/poverty; lots of young residents with no activities to participate in; older residents who are isolated and in need of a social base.
