1,450 (25% of which will be affordable).

Gross development value

£375 - £400m.

Project summary

Hyde and Countryside established a 50:50 joint venture to deliver the Rochester Riverside scheme and worked closely with the land owners, Medway Council and Homes England, to bring forward a mixed use development on this site. The community will benefit from a new school, nursery, hotel, restaurant and convenience store.

Why the partnership works

The partners worked together to:

  • share our individual objectives and concerns
  • equally invest resources
  • inform the masterplan to create a more successful scheme
  • provide a better outcome for the local community.

This is a hugely exciting scheme and we are very pleased to be working together with Hyde. Rochester Riverside is a crucial component in Medway’s regeneration plan, which is delivering quality homes and much-needed amenities for local residents
