The Tamworth Road development comprises 28 affordable rent apartments, consisting of 10 units of one bedroom, 12 units of two bedroom and six units of three bedroom homes. The development has two disabled units with specifications designed to the needs of the two residents.
The scheme is located on the corner of Tamworth Road, Tamworth Place and Drummond Road which is on the edge of the town centre just behind the Centrale Shopping Centre. The site is within close proximity to excellent transport links, including the tram network and Croydon West train station.
Despite being near good transport links the scheme has 12 parking bays and one for one bike racks for all residents. The scheme is secure by design approved, and has PV panels which provide electricity for the communal areas thereby reducing service charge for our residents and has both a brown and green roof.
