Customer Services and Operations

Susan Stockwell - Group Chief Customer officer and Linda Colburn - Group Property Director 

Susan Stockwell is our Chief Customer Officer and together with Linda Colburn Group Property Director they are responsible for the whole of the Customer Services and Operations directorate. 

This is our largest directorate and is made up of several teams such as Property Services, Resident Services, Core Operations, Asset Management, Resident Engagement and our community investment team – Hyde Foundation.

Property Services

This team ensures Hyde meets its legal and regulatory obligations with regards to our housing stock. The team also works with our in-house service provider – Hyde Property Services (HPS) - to carry out responsive repairs, planned improvement work and gas servicing for 30,000 of our homes across the south and south-east of England.

HPS employs around 200 people, including electricians, plumbers, gas engineers and joiners; we also employ sub-contractors to help deliver specialist jobs.

Resident Services

This team works closely with our residents, providing housing services, quality housing management and first-class customer care to more than 40,000 homes right across Hyde. Teams under Resident Services are located in all of our main offices across London, the South East and Peterborough. Roles include Property Managers, Tenancy Advisors, ASB (antisocial behaviour) officers and Resident Engagement officers. Find out more about Resident Engagement on our web pages.

Core Operations

Core Operations is made up of the Home Ownership Team, Income Team and Customer Services (including the Corporate Complaints Team). They deliver consistent and cost-efficient services to our customers. Core Operations mainly operate from our Lewisham, Chichester, Northside (PFI) and Park Street sites.

Hyde Foundation

The Hyde Foundation is our expert community investment team. The team works with residents, communities and partner organisations to help residents and places that have the greatest need. This can include helping residents maintain tenancies, and starting programmes that increase positive pathways for young people and improve the health and well-being of older and vulnerable residents.
