Legal team walk for access to justice

Posted on 18 May 2018

Our Legal team took part in the 10k London Legal Walk on Monday 21 May, raising funds for the London Legal Support Trust.

The London Legal Walk is a major annual fundraising event that raises much-needed money so that free advice centres and services can continue to function.

Local law centres and Citizens Advice Bureaux provide a vital service to those in need within our communities. This includes people living with a disability or illness that need assistance, elderly people who need support to stay living independently, people who have been unfairly dismissed or discriminated against at work or those facing homelessness.

Last year, 12,000 people walked 10k for justice and raised £800,000. If you would like to make a charitable donation to make sure vulnerable people are not alone and get the support they need to get back on their feet, please visit our fundraising page.

There should be access to justice for everyone. Anyone can face a crisis in their lives where they are in need of legal advice.
