Building Safety Fund application

Davoll Court’s freeholder, Salmon Youth Centre, has applied to the Building Safety Fund for funding to cover the cost of remedial works. It’s important to note that Building Safety Fund applications are taking time to be assessed, due to the sheer number of submissions nationally. This means we can’t tell you when we’ll find out if Salmon Youth Centre’s application been successful and, if it is, how much funding it will receive. We’ll update you as soon as we know more.

The Building Safety Fund Leaseholder and Resident Service

Government is publishing updates on how Building Safety Fund applications are progressing in the third week of each month on the Building Safety Fund Leaseholder and Resident Service website pages.

Customers must use a code unique to their building to access the service. We’ve shared this code with customers and can share it again via email, on request.

We will update customers with a programme of works once a contractor has been appointed.

What to do in the event of a fire

The evacuation strategy at Davoll Court is ‘simultaneous evacuation’ . This his means that if you're alerted to a fire, you must evacuate the building immediately.

EWS1 forms

Some residents have asked about the EWS1 (external wall system) certificate. The freeholder is responsible for providing this. However, the process of completing and issuing an EWS1 certificate cannot happen until the planned works are complete.

If you want to find out more about EWS1 forms, please visit our EWS pages where you can find an overview of the issues surrounding external wall surveys and the answers to the most frequently asked questions.
