Welcome to our annual review 2015-16

In this section you will be able to read about the highlights of the past twelve months and find links to full reports on all aspects of Hyde, from financial performance, to our social purpose activities and our drive to deliver value for money.

There were significant changes in the housing market last year. Government has made house building and home ownership clear priorities and has challenged housing associations to be more efficient and to build more homes.

With social housing rents being reduced by 1% each year for four years from April 2016, our income will fall, prompting us to look at our strategy to ensure we are able to deliver more for less. This, coupled with the intention for the UK to leave the EU, means political and economic uncertainty is likely to continue for months - if not years.

At Hyde we know what we want to achieve, we have laid rock-solid foundations, and we are very excited and inspired about what the future holds. Take a look at the past year's financial results, and how we delivered against our objectives of delivering quality services, increasing capacity, and building more homes.

We look forward to working with staff, residents and partners to make our organisation the very best it can be, without losing sight of our social purpose: to provide decent, affordable homes and to manage them responsibly.
