We want you to enjoy your home and will provide support if you cannot move around as well or as much as you once did.
The help could be fitting an extra handrail on your staircase or making structural changes to your home to allow you to remain living there.
We will guide you through the process and offer advice about applying for extra benefits too. When it’s finished we will check to see if you are pleased with the work and that it is meeting your needs.
However major or more expensive adaptations to your home need the advice of an occupational therapist to identify and tell us and you what is needed.
Adaptations are subject to available budgets. You might need to apply for local authority funding for some major adaptations, but we can help you with the application.
