Putting the customer first

We are excited to announce the appointment of Susan Stockwell (MBA) to the new position of Group Director of Customer Services. Part of the Executive Management team, Susan has more than four years’ executive director experience and 20 years’ experience in senior positions at companies such as Southern Water, Electricity North West, Morrison Facilities Service and Aldwyck Housing Group.

No stranger to housing, Susan studied for a First Class (Hons) Housing degree whilst working in the sector and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Group Chief Executive Elaine Bailey said: “We are delighted to welcome Susan to Hyde. Her specialist knowledge and experience of leading customer strategies, improving customer satisfaction and delivering transformational change programmes will be of great importance as Hyde moves into a new era of housing.”

Susan, who started on 18 September has spent her first month immersing herself in the business and taking time to understand what customers want and need from Hyde as their landlord.

“Delivering a great service is an absolute passion of mine.” explains Susan. “As we move forward into the digital era, I am keen to introduce modern and effective tools that can help to deliver our values and objectives.”

“I’m excited to be back in the housing sector and hope I can bring along my wealth of experience, passion and commitment, to deliver all things customer and help Hyde to be the best housing association it can be.”
