Surrey Predators Football Club
The Roundshaw Office will now be open:
from Monday – Friday between 9am and 5pm
We have looked at the way we deal with allegations of ASB and over the coming months we will be improving ways of working to ensure residents and other people can easily report incidents and importantly be confident that their reports are dealt with.
Going forward we will be adopting a zero-tolerance stance, with perpetrators firmly held to account, whilst complainants and witnesses are supported.
Incidents of ASB should be reported immediately or as soon as possible after the event. To be useful we need good information and the basics should be:
• Time, Date and Location of the Incident;
• What happened including exact words used (including swear words) and actions of the perpetrators;
• Who was involved (names, ages, descriptions, clothing worn, etc). Where names are not know, give a good description, nick names used and as much other info as possible to help identify the people;
• The affect it had on you as the complainant or witness.
Reporting incidents:
E: roundshaw@mht.co.uk (In the subject box write ‘FAO: The ASB Team’)
T: 0208 773 5050
L: ASB Team, Roundshaw Homes, 5 Mollison Square, Wallington, Surrey SM6 9DA
In all cases where there is serious risk to people or property dial 999 and ask for ‘The Police’.

Funky Fresh Streetdance Group
Local Streetdance Group – Funky Fresh
Local streetdance group, Funky Fresh, were lucky enough to compete at the British Streetdance Championships in Brean Sands from 3rd-5th February 2012.
The group were part funded by the Roundshaw Homes Community Pot, and the rest of the money was raised by the girls themselves by organising a community fair. A lot of hard work and effort went into their preparations for the British Streetdance Championships with hours of practice being put in to the ‘team’ dance.
One group member, Kyna Archer, a Roundshaw resident, wowed judges and came 2nd in her solo in the Under 16’s category.
Funky Fresh, as a team, came 6th overall in the team category, which was a huge achievement, especially as there were 12 teams in their age category.
Judges at the competition included choreographers from the A-Team, Got to Dance Semi-Finalists, Chuck and some of the best hip-hop dancers in the UK.
It was a great weekend, and the girls thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a great experience to be surrounded by some of the best dancers in the UK.
Keeley Wilcox, dance teacher for Funky Fresh, said; “The girls did everyone proud and it was a great experience. They have been training so hard over the past few weeks, that it was great for them to do well at such a high level.”
Funky Fresh dance as part of United in Dance, a community dance social enterprise, that provides dance classes for everyone.
Open classes run from The Phoenix Centre, Mollison Drive, Wallington, SM6 9NZ on Fridays at the following times:
5.15pm-5.45pm for 4-7 year olds. Cost: £1.00

Residents who lost their homes in an accidental fire on the Roundshaw estate, Wallington, in July 2010 attended a ‘Welcome Home’ gathering on Wednesday 28 September.
Fortunately all residents, including 11 adults and 10 children, were safely evacuated from their homes on Amy Close, along with a total of 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 hamsters and 1 rabbit.
Amy Close was the first street built as part of the regeneration of Roundshaw.
Some residents only returned to their newly re-built home last month and the gathering marked a fresh start for all.
There were a number of partners at the event including Representatives from the Amy Johnson Primary School, which became a refuge for the residents during the crisis, the local fire brigade, Safer Neighbourhoods, the contractors and BRM consultants.
There was food, drink and free ice creams for all and children were provided with free face painting and nail/tattoo art.
The event was attended by Steve White, Chief Executive of The Hyde Group who presented Mel Elsey, Head teacher of Amy Johnson Primary School with a bouquet of flowers and a donation of £250 towards the new ‘School Council’.
