Key housing-related policy now available for public consultation

Peterborough City Council has commenced consultation on a key policy document that is of relevance to all housing association tenants in Peterborough, including those of Hyde Minster. The Peterborough Strategic Tenancy Policy sets out the preferred approach that the council would like to see housing associations take when granting fixed-term tenancies and setting rents on ‘affordable rent’ homes. The council is keen to here your views on this important document. To comment on both this policy and the draft Peterborough Housing Strategy 2011-15, visit Peterborough Housing website.

Local Offer launched

A Local Offer is a new way of tailoring the services that housing organisations offer to their residents. This Local Offer is an arrangement between residents and Hyde Minster to do that.

The Local Offer will increase the accountability of Hyde Minster, as residents play an active
