Hyde Plus is a specialist team within Hyde which aims to improve the quality of life, and life chances, of Hyde residents. We do this through one to one support services and neighbourhood investment. With over 15 years of experience, Hyde Plus is a sector leader in social regeneration and investment.

Money and debt advice
Our financial inclusion services improve the financial circumstances of Hyde residents and help them stay in their homes. We offer free, confidential and impartial help through debt management, money guidance and budgeting, energy and benefits advice, and promoting affordable credit.

Employment and training
We create pathways to employment through increasing skills, confidence and opportunities. We help residents by providing tailored support and advice; increasing access to vocational training; developing basic skills; bursaries to help residents achieve career goals; providing work placements, apprenticeships and volunteering opportunities; strengthening interview skills and helping with CVs and job searching.

Neighbourhoods and communities
Hyde Plus’ work in neighbourhoods is about making a lasting difference through improving local services and building stronger communities. We do this by involving residents and organisations in finding solutions to local problems; developing or improving local services; supporting local groups and enterprises; managing community and youth centres; delivering events to bring neighbours together; digital inclusion and environmental improvement projects; fundraising to invest in neighbourhoods.

Young people
Hyde Plus has a range of services and programmes to increase aspiration, confidence and achievements of young Hyde residents. We do this by delivering diversionary and developmental projects for young people; working with schools, youth groups and voluntary sector partners; offering Hyde Young Pride bursaries; providing grants for local projects; mentoring programmes; work placements and apprenticeships; vocational advice and guidance.
